TOUR 10 DAYS 9 NIGHTS: THE BEST OF MOROCCO

This 10 day tour is a combination of Moroccan history, culture and landscapes. If you do not have enough time to do the Grand Tour of Morocco, the Best Morocco tour is a good alternative. You can visit the main imperial cities of Morocco, travel through the Kasbah trail and the road of old caravans; visit Essaouira on the coast, and isolated Berber villages. You will also ride camels and spend the night in the Sahara Desert. During this trip you will learn history, diverse culture, meet the locals and enjoy the fascinating landscape that Morocco has to offer you.

Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat.


Arrival at Casablanca International Airport, where we will welcome you and drive to Casablanca and Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In Casablanca, you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside Mecca and the seaside resort. Then we will go to Rabat. You will see the Hassan Tower and Kasbah Oudayas, before returning to your Riad in the medina. Night at Riad or Hotel


Day 2: Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Fez.


After breakfast in your riad, you can start the journey towards Fez via Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes, another important imperial city in Morocco, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, you will see the famous Bab Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani "Basin", and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, your journey will continue in the Roman city of Volubilis, where you will have the chance to see the beautifully preserved original mosaics, Roman road, and city map. As you travel through the Moroccan countryside, we will go through the holy city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun to immortalize the moment with beautiful photos. We continue towards Fes, after the visit of Moulay Driss Zerhoun. You will arrive at the end of the afternoon at your riad in the medina. Night at Riad Yacout or riad Rita or Hotel Wassim. (BB).


Day 3: Full Day To Explore Fez.


Breakfast in your riad, then we will start a tour of the Medina where you will visit the many hidden treasures that only locals know. Fez was the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest university in the world. Your guided tour will take you to the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains and the Tanneries. After lunch, you can also see the exterior of the Royal Palace and walk through the famous Jewish quarter "Mellah", where you will have the opportunity to visit one of the few synagogues in Morocco. Your visit to Fez will include a short tour of the famous ceramic factory, then you will enjoy a panoramic view of the entire medina of Fez. In the afternoon we will go to the new city for a drink. Day 4: Fez - Azrou - Midlet - Ziz Valley - Merzouga.


After breakfast in your Riad, you will go to the south-east following the caravan route to Merzouga. During this trip, you will experience a glimpse of the Middle Atlas and the higher Atlas Mountains. Stop at the cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, on the mountains of the Middle Atlas, where you can see the barbarian monkeys. After lunch, at Midelt, you will continue through the great high open desert, and notice how the landscape changes to reveal desert notes as you approach the Errachidia town. Your journey continues along the lush Ziz Valley and the palm grove of Tafilalet, famous for the culture of the date. This area is the foundation of the Alawite dynasty - the current royal family in Morocco. You will arrive in Merzouga at the end of the afternoon, Here you will welcome with a glass of mint tea before Choosing to spend the night in the Riad or in the Berber tent. Half board (half-board).

Day 5: The Chamelière Hike In The Zone Of Merzouga.


After breakfast in the riad you will start a tour of the region. You will visit the Gnawa peoples - originally slaves brought from Sudan and live the experience of their music and way of life. You can also visit the souk of Rissani and Tafilalte, a traditional town that is at the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of caravans coming from Timbuktu in Mali. Day 6: Merzouga - Erfoud - Tinjdad - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges (260 Km).

After lunch in the heart of the gorge we drive through the Dades Valley, where you will see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as "monkey toes". Day 7: Dades Valley - Skoura Oasis - Ouazazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Tizi N'Ttichka Pass - Marrakech.


After breakfast at the hotel we drive through the Dades Valley to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The road through the Dades Valley is the route of a thousand Kasbahs - providing many opportunities to take some of your best photographic travel snaps. Day 8: Marrakech Exploration.

Day 9: Day Trip to Essaouira.


After breakfast in your riad, you can start traveling to the coastal city of Essaouira. How to get there after practice on one and a half hours to start exploring the city. You will visit the Skala Fortress, see Thuya carved by craftsmen; walk through the alleys of the medina and display hundreds of handicrafts. This "wind city" attracts surfers from all over the world. Day 10: Marrakech - Casablanca Airport.


After a breakfast in your riad, we will drive you to Casablanca / Marrakech airport for your return flight.
